We are recognized specialists in a wide range of commodities, geologies, and deposit types in both open pit and underground mining. Our technical leaders have decades of combined practical experience spanning projects of every size and complexity level.

Our story

Equilibrium was founded in 2022 by Karen Moffitt and quickly grew into a core team of experienced and driven engineers with the addition of Rita Tsai, Karyn Gallant, and Karl Lawrence. We each left successful careers in larger corporate settings because we were inspired to build something different: a consulting practice where balance creates excellence. Our hard-working team now includes over 40 specialists executing a wide range of projects for our valued clients.
