This is not an entry-level position. The successful candidate will be expected to take initiative, contribute strategically, and play a hands-on role in defining and delivering our marketing plan.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead core HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, and performance management across Equilibrium’s Canada, United States, and Australia offices
  • Partner with leadership to shape HR strategy and support business goals
  • Strengthen employee engagement, culture, and retention initiatives
  • Oversee benefits, compensation, and compliance with all employment regulations
  • Manage employee relations and provide guidance to managers and staff
  • Develop HR policies, processes, and training programs
  • Use data and insights to improve HR operations and employee experience

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in HR leadership or management roles
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience across multiple countries / regions (US, Canada, AU)
  • Experience with HR systems and data-driven decision-making
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance
  • Professional certification (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist – CEBS; Certified Human Resources Professional – CHRP; or Society of Human Resources Management – SHRM) required

Location: Vancouver, Canada (onsite preferred)

The estimated annual salary for this position is $100,000 – $120,000 CAD. The final base salary offer will be at the Company’s discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.
